More recently, we used to make the hike on a Sunday afternoon from the other side of the Bridge just for a coupla slices with the kids even though all the other shops were closed, although we braved the Saturday crowds often enough too. And I could never decide between the Neapolitan with the great semolina under the crust and the 'lighter than air" pillow top of the sicilian- always had both!! Now that I am in CA, I miss it alot and go there everytime I go home...only problem I have ever encountered is not being able to try enough different slices....I'm almost glad to hear people giving it the thumbs down- less of a crowd and more pizza for me. The naysayers may have had a bad slice or two (sometimes they have been sitting out there for a while), so ignore them.
