OMG, I’ve been there before! I just moved out of Howard Beach, and passed that place a few times when making our way to Broad Channel for The Wharf, or visiting my boyfriend’s family…
Excellent tuna salad, good bagels…
The only thing is that the picture of the outside brings to mind what my boyfriend told me the first time he took me there. Apparently when that whole ugly TX incident occurred (involving *grimace* the dragging of a person from a truck), a few months later during the Broad Channel Halloween (or other) Parade, they re-enacted it. Using the local fire truck. The whole town was under a lot of heat for it *shudder* … disgusting. But uh, yeah, good bagels! Fresh cream cheese as well
