He was all like "This your boy?" And I said "Hell yeah, that's my boy." And then he saw that I have your Village Voice page on my bulletin board here and said "Your boy is getting mad props, yo" and I totes agreed. No, really--that was a conversation I just had at a literary publishing house. You bring out the street in the nerditors! Hoooooooray for Daveywood! Dudes, I just had a coworker bring by Saveur! Try Seal Beach for walking the sidewalks with sweet shops, shell shops, fish, pizza, burgers and an independent film house. Not to mention bungalows, a pier, and the crashing or lapsing of surf.(smells and sounds good too!)
