I just stumbled across your blog today and just loved reading it. As a native Californian, Sacramentan and foodie it warmed my heart that you had such a good experience. Next time you and Melissa decide to visit make sure to include more of Northern California, where my husband and I live in the mountains. It’s absolutely beautiful and the food is good up here too! those steamed buns and duck look awesome. there’s gotta be somewhere that has them between new york and philly…

so, just to clarify, its ok to drive your SUV drunk, go 100 miles an hour and change lanes like you’re making a turn, but tapping a bumper while you parallel park is a big no-no… do they also say ‘good night’ when they see you first thing in the morning?

long, accurate and totally hylarious.

oh, and btw, the european people that you see traveling around for months at a time are usually affectiously called “multimillionaires” around here ok, we get much more paid vacation than the average american worker, but, here in italy, we have about 20 days per year.
