Hey, I'm a first generation siclian and I grew up eating cannolis my nana made. After she died I tried to find a good place, if you are ever in No. California try Romolo's in San Mateo. They are the best, instead of wedding cake my husband and I decided to do several tiers of cannolis, which meant we had a lot left over and I still have yet to get sick of them. The lady that owns the place is Angela, and her grandson Joey has started to take over. But their cannolis are some of the best I've ever had. And I've sampeled alot. In fact one place I went to (not sicilian but northern Italy) put olives on the end of their cannolis, let me tell you it was disgusting, it's good to see other people having the same love of cannolis I have.
Bon Gusto!

I am an Italian transplant from New York to Oregon. This is an awsomely beautiful state, however, their cannoli (if you can find them) suck.
They are tiny and outrageously priced.
I'm tired (read: old and crabby) of making my own. Too labor intensive, and, the kitchen looks like a flour bomb went off in there, by the time I'm through.
I'm looking for a cannoli shell forming machine for mass production- new or used.
I can get one directly from Italy, however, it would be a logistical and additional cost nightmare.
Any ideas as to who makes them in the U.S.A., or, would sell a used one??
