    Dave, where did you eat when you were there? I was there last May and it was so hot (in the 90’s) I pigged out on seafood. Wanted to go to Willie Mae’s but was told she wasn’t open yet. That cake looks mighty good.

    The cake was probably the tastiest thing I’ve eaten on any of these Holiday Food shoots. It was all warm and sugary. Like the best Cinnabon on earth.

    I love New Orleans food. I was there just before the storm. But I still stayed mostly to the French Quarter. I ate at Cafe DuMonde a million times. Mother’s for a Ferdy po boy. And not only best po boy I ever had, but the best sandwich I ever had was at a grocery called Verti Mart at 3am fried oyster and crawfish “dressed.”
